The Post-NACNAP Midwifery programme is a specialized course designed for individuals who have already completed the National Community Health Nursing Assistant Programme (NACNAP) and wish to advance their skills and knowledge to become professional midwives. This programme builds upon the foundational knowledge acquired during NACNAP, providing in-depth training in all aspects of midwifery, including antenatal care, labor and delivery, postnatal care, and newborn care. Students will learn to manage normal pregnancies and deliveries, identify and manage obstetric emergencies, and provide comprehensive care to women and their newborns. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based practice, critical thinking, and ethical decision-making. The programme also covers reproductive health, family planning, and health promotion strategies to empower women and communities.
