The HND Ecological Agriculture programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of sustainable agricultural practices that prioritize environmental health, biodiversity, and social equity. It emphasizes minimizing the use of synthetic inputs and maximizing natural ecological processes to improve soil fertility, crop health, and overall farm productivity. Students will learn about organic farming principles, agroecology, soil management, pest and disease control using natural methods, and the socio-economic aspects of sustainable agriculture.
