The BSc Water Resources Development programme is a multidisciplinary course designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage, develop, and conserve water resources sustainably. It focuses on understanding the hydrological cycle, water quality, water supply systems, irrigation techniques, and the impact of human activities on water resources. Students will learn about water resource planning, policy, and governance, considering both technical and socio-economic aspects. The programme emphasizes integrated water resources management (IWRM) principles and prepares graduates to address the challenges of water scarcity, pollution, and climate change in Ghana and beyond.
