The BSc Public Health programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote health, prevent disease, and improve the well-being of communities and populations. The programme covers a broad range of public health disciplines, including epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, health policy and management, social and behavioral health, and global health. Students will learn to assess health needs, plan and implement public health interventions, conduct research, analyze data, and communicate effectively with diverse audiences. The curriculum emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, integrating biological, social, and behavioral sciences to address complex public health challenges in Ghana and globally. Graduates will be prepared for careers in public health practice, research, and policy.
