The BSc Medical Imaging programme is a multidisciplinary course that equips students with the knowledge and skills necessary to produce and interpret medical images. It combines elements of physics, anatomy, physiology, and computer science to understand the principles behind various imaging modalities. Students will learn about X-ray, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound, and Nuclear Medicine. The program emphasizes both the technical aspects of image acquisition and the clinical applications of medical imaging in diagnosis and treatment planning. Students will also develop skills in image processing, analysis, and interpretation, as well as patient care and safety protocols.
