The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSc Nursing) programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary for providing high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based nursing care. The programme integrates theoretical learning with extensive clinical practice, preparing graduates to function effectively in diverse healthcare settings. Students will learn about human anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, medical-surgical nursing, maternal and child health, mental health nursing, community health nursing, and ethical and legal aspects of nursing practice. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills to ensure graduates are well-prepared to meet the evolving healthcare needs of individuals, families, and communities in Ghana and beyond.
