The BSc Geosciences programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Earth, its processes, and its history. It integrates knowledge from various disciplines, including geology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, and environmental science, to address complex issues related to natural resources, environmental sustainability, and hazard mitigation. Students will learn about the formation of rocks and minerals, the dynamics of the Earth's interior, the evolution of life, and the interactions between the Earth's systems (atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere, and biosphere). The programme emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, equipping students with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret geological data, and to apply this knowledge to real-world problems.
