The BSc Geoinformation Science programme provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the theories, methods, and technologies used to collect, analyze, manage, and visualize geospatial data. It integrates principles from geography, surveying, remote sensing, cartography, computer science, and mathematics to address real-world problems related to environmental monitoring, urban planning, resource management, disaster response, and more. Students will learn to use geographic information systems (GIS), global positioning systems (GPS), remote sensing data, and spatial statistics to analyze spatial patterns and processes, create maps, and develop decision-support tools.
