The BSc General Nursing programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide comprehensive nursing care to individuals, families, and communities across the lifespan. This programme integrates theoretical learning with practical clinical experience, allowing students to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and leadership abilities within the healthcare setting. Core concepts covered include anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, medical-surgical nursing, maternal and child health nursing, mental health nursing, community health nursing, and ethical and legal considerations in nursing practice. Students will learn to assess patients' health needs, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, perform nursing procedures, and educate patients and their families about health promotion and disease prevention.
