The BSc Environmental Studies programme is a multidisciplinary programme designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the environment and the complex interactions between natural systems and human activities. The programme integrates knowledge from the natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities to address environmental challenges and promote sustainable solutions. Students will learn about ecological principles, environmental pollution, resource management, climate change, environmental policy, and sustainable development. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking, problem-solving, and practical skills development, enabling graduates to effectively contribute to environmental protection and management in Ghana and beyond.
