The BSc Agricultural Extension and Community Development programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to facilitate agricultural development and improve rural livelihoods in Ghana. Students will learn about crop and animal production, soil science, agricultural economics, and community mobilization techniques. The programme emphasizes sustainable agricultural practices, rural sociology, and the role of extension services in bridging the gap between research and farmers. It aims to produce graduates who can effectively work with farmers, communities, and government agencies to promote agricultural innovation, food security, and rural development.
