The Bachelor of Education (Special Education) programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to effectively teach and support individuals with diverse learning needs. The programme provides a comprehensive understanding of various disabilities, including intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, visual and hearing impairments, and physical disabilities. Students will learn about assessment techniques, intervention strategies, assistive technology, and inclusive education practices. Emphasis is placed on creating individualized education programmes (IEPs) and fostering collaborative partnerships with families and other professionals to promote the holistic development of students with special needs.
