The Bachelor of Education (Religious Studies) programme is designed to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of religious traditions, ethical principles, and pedagogical skills necessary for teaching Religious Education at various levels of the educational system in Ghana. The programme explores major world religions, philosophical underpinnings of religious thought, and contemporary issues related to religion and society. Students will develop critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills, alongside practical teaching methodologies, to become effective and engaging Religious Education teachers. The programme further aims at fostering intercultural and interreligious understanding to promote tolerance and peaceful co-existence in diverse communities.
