The Bachelor of Education (Early Grade Education) programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to effectively teach and nurture young children in the early years of schooling (KG to Primary 3). The programme focuses on child development, pedagogy specific to early childhood, curriculum design, assessment, and inclusive education practices. Students will learn how to create stimulating and developmentally appropriate learning environments, implement effective teaching strategies, and assess children's progress in literacy, numeracy, and socio-emotional development. It emphasizes hands-on experience through practicum placements and aims to produce highly competent and compassionate early grade educators who can make a positive impact on children's lives.
