The Bachelor of Education (Early Grade Education) programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to effectively teach and nurture children in the early years of schooling (KG - Primary 3). The programme focuses on child development, pedagogy specific to early grades, curriculum development, assessment strategies, and inclusive education practices. Students will learn how to create engaging and stimulating learning environments that foster children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. A key emphasis is placed on literacy and numeracy development in the early years, along with effective classroom management and parent/community engagement strategies.
