The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Computer Science programme is designed to equip students with a strong foundation in computer science principles and pedagogical techniques, enabling them to become effective computer science educators. The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills in areas such as programming, data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, and software engineering, alongside educational psychology, curriculum development, and teaching methodologies. Students will learn how to design and deliver engaging computer science lessons, assess student learning, and integrate technology into the classroom. The B.Ed. Computer Science programme prepares graduates to teach computer science at the secondary school level and contribute to the development of computer science education in Ghana.
