The Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Basic Education programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to become effective and dedicated teachers in basic schools (primary and junior high). The programme focuses on pedagogical principles, subject matter expertise, and child development, preparing graduates to foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for young learners. Students will explore various teaching methodologies, assessment techniques, and classroom management strategies, while also developing a deep understanding of the Ghanaian educational system and its challenges. Emphasis is placed on practical teaching experience through internships and practicum sessions.
