The Bachelor of Public Health Nursing program is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote health, prevent disease, and provide care to individuals, families, and communities within a public health context. The program integrates nursing science, public health principles, and community health practices. Students will learn about epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, health policy, and social determinants of health. They will also develop skills in health assessment, health education, community organizing, program planning and evaluation, and disease management, with a focus on primary health care. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based practice and ethical considerations in public health nursing. Graduates are prepared to work in a variety of settings, including community health centers, schools, non-governmental organizations, and government agencies, to address public health challenges and improve the health and well-being of populations.
