The BA Communication Studies (Journalism) programme is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and ethical understanding necessary to excel in the dynamic field of journalism. The programme explores the theoretical foundations of communication, media studies, and journalism, while providing extensive practical training in news gathering, writing, editing, and production across various media platforms (print, broadcast, and online). Students will learn to critically analyze media content, understand the role of journalism in society, and adapt to the evolving media landscape. Core concepts include media ethics, communication theory, news writing and reporting, media law, and digital journalism.
